Component Chaos at Constructor's Camp A missing component, crucial to the build of the highly anticipated Mercedes-AMG "Bayliss" model, has sent shockwaves through the F1 world. Sources close to the secretive construction camp, DB Dynamics, say that all activity as halted on the Kenilworth factory floor as designers struggle to find a way of contiuing the build without the missing component. The contract for the construction of the Mercedes-AMG "Bayliss" model was awarded to DB Dynamics in early February this year, after they had successfully built the AC-75 foiling monohull for Emirates Team NZ that went on to win the 37th America's Cup in Barcelona, Spain. However that decision was not without criticism, with some industry analysts pointing out that DB Dynamics had no previous experience in the motor industry.
